Artist, Composer, award-winning filmmaker and producer.
Winner of Arctic Talent, member of the band Snoweye (with Lucy Parnell and John Paul Jones in Led Zeppelin, Them Crooked Vultures).
She has collaborated musically with Christophe Beck in the feature film The 12th Man by Harald Zwart. She has directed and produced several short films as Iđitsilba, Don`t fuck with me, Guođohit, The Sámi have rights and Icebreaker –Agnete.
She has composed music for the documentary film Familiebildet and for the commercial Leica.
She made her debut as a theatre music composer at Sámi Našunálateáhter Beaivváš in 2019, and has composed music to Kvinnerommet.
She received Gramart scholarship in 2019 and artist scholarship from the Sami Parliament –Sámediggi in 2015. She is a member of Article 3 –the only female DJs from Sápmi.
She has had some exhibitions and several concerts around the world. USA, Russia, England, Germany, Canada, China, Sweden, Finland, France, Lithuania, Denmark, Belgium, Brazil, Guatemala.
As a musical artist she Yoiks in her native Sápmi tounge with a presence, rawness and ingenuity that transcendslanguage barriers. Deeply personal and rooted in the reindeer husbandry, Sápmi cultural history and presence, her work both enlightens and confronts. Stating that her art is simply a raw and genuine reflection of the human condition.
Hailing from Kautokeino, a small community deep in the Arctic tundra of Northern Norway, her artistic endeavors have led her across all continentsand past cultural barriers.
